Sarah Taylor

My career has been pretty unconventional! I started work as an Army Officer, training at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and leading teams in different countries and situations, where I discovered a passion for training and development. After six years service a chance trip to France led to a new career in the travel industry, where I worked across Europe in customer-facing delivery and management roles, mainly in the Alps. Returning to the UK after five years I transitioned more formally into L&D and talent leadership roles, working with TUI Travel, KCOM a B2B communications company and for more than a decade Thales UK.

I have held senior leadership positions, including Director of HR & Talent Architect, where I was responsible for designing and implementing leadership and talent development frameworks on a large-scale as well as coaching executive leaders on their leadership journeys. A senior coaching practitioner with 15 years of experience, I have also led coaching and mentoring communities and am deeply committed to social impact. I have volunteered as a coach with Refuge, The Samaritans, and in education as well as leading veteran support initiatives.

My approach blends decades of leadership experience with psychology-backed insight to help you think clearly, act decisively, and lead with grounded confidence.

I don’t offer quick fixes or generic frameworks. I offer presence, perspective, and practical partnership, especially when the pressure is high and the path forward is uncertain. This is discreet, strategic support for leaders who need a second brain in the room, not another voice in the noise.

With a career across functional and business leadership, strategy and executive mentoring, I have worked with major brands like British Gas, RAC, and Phones4U, as well as leading interim roles at G4S, Transport for Greater Manchester, and multiple SMEs – including as an interim MD.

Starting my career with British Gas at just 16, I have built my expertise and career from the ground up, earning a Mechanical Engineering degree, an MBA and I am currently studying a Psychology Masters. With years of experience I focus on resourcing and developing high-performing Teams, using Team, Group & 1:1 Coaching & Mentoring interventions.

I am passionate about helping businesses harness the true power of effective leadership and guiding clients to unlock their full potential, that of their teams and organisations.
